Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held phone talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
According to Saidov, the conversation with his Tajik counterpart was productive.
"Our friendly and neighborly relations, based on mutual trust, support, and strategic partnership, continue to develop dynamically," said the minister in a message on Telegram.
The head of Uzbekistan’s MFA noted that during the state visit to Dushanbe last year, important agreements were reached on key issues, and the signed agreement on allied relations marked the beginning of a new era in bilateral ties.
"We are confident that joint efforts will further strengthen cooperation between our countries and bring new achievements for our fraternal peoples in 2025," the minister emphasized.
