Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with State Councilor and Foreign Minister of China Qin Gang.

“The agenda of negotiations with my colleague Qin Gang was extensive. We discussed achievements in strengthening the Uzbek-Chinese friendship in recent years, and outlined priority areas of cooperation for the future. 2023 is very rich in high-level exchanges in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China,” said Saidov.

The ministers also examined new buses produced by the Chinese company Yutong. “Recently, we bought hundreds of them to improve public transport in Uzbekistan,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Qin Gang stressed that China encourages Chinese enterprises to invest in Uzbekistan and is ready to expand imports of high-quality products from Uzbekistan.
