Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 August 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mohammad Monirul Islam.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to this high position and wished him success in his future activity.

It was noted that Uzbekistan and Bangladesh are showing steady economic growth, have much in common, and possess a big room for partnership to fulfill. Readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to facilitate tight engagements in all areas was expressed.
