The newspaper said that Executive Committee of Uzbekistan Football Federation held a session to discuss performances of Uzbekistan national team and Olympic team.

At the session, Mirjalal Kasimov, head coach of Uzbekistan national team, and Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov, head coach of Uzbekistan Olympic team, resigned. Reprimands were declared to the head of the Center of preparation of national teams Askar Tolibdjanov and Rustam Akramov, as well as the head of the Professional Football League Farhod Magometov and the Secretary General of the Federation Sardor Rakhmatullaeva. It was noted that they can be fired if teams fail to achieve proper results.

The session also raised questions on activities of the specialists of the press center and marketing department, the paper added.

At the session Samver Babayan has been appointed as head coach of Uzbekistan. He should leave the post of manager of Pakhtakor Tashkent.

Ravshan Haydarov, who guided Uzbekistan U-20 to quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, will assist him.

The Center of preparation of national teams was ordered to determine a candidate of foreign consultant coach within 20 days. Samvel Babayan should lead the team to World Cup in 2018.

Victor Jalilov was appointed as head coach of Uzbekistan Olympic team. Dilshod Nuraliev will be his assistant. They should claim a license to Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
