Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan signed Law “On Amendments to Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Advocacy.”.
The document envisages the abolition of the requirement for two years of legal experience to obtain a lawyer’s license.
The measure is aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the legal profession and attracting young personnel to the field.
Applicants are required to complete an internship of at least three months and pass a qualifying exam.
