With eight Iran internationals in their squad the difference in class between the two sides was evident as Foolad secured their second successive win that sets up a battle for first place in Group A with Nagoya Oceans on Tuesday.

Vahid Shamsaee was again a key contributor to the victory with the Iran legend scoring six goals to take his tally to 10 for the tournament.

Shamsaee made it look easy when he opened the scoring after two minutes as the 36-year-old drove a low shot between two defenders and into the net before Foolad added a second with a well worked move as one-touch passing between Ali Hassen Zadeh and Mohammad Keshavarz allowed Javad Asghari to scoop a shot into the goal.

Mohamad Taheri added a third when he shot on the turn after seven minutes before Shamsaee stroked an effort home seconds later.

The one-way traffic continued as Hassen Zadeh registered his first goal of the game before further strikes from Shamsaee and Majid Raeisi ended the game as a contest before it was even half time.

Shamsaee fired high into the roof of the net in the 23rd minute before Stroitel finally got off the mark when Anvar Mamedov lofted a shot beyond Mostafa Nazari.

But Foolad were quick to respond and extended their lead with goals from Mohamed Ghasemi, Ahmad Baghbanbashi before a late Shamsaee double rounded off the emphatic win.
