Adopted measures on increasing quality and expanding assortment of products at food industry enterprises heled to increase production of butter by 5.3 times, tinned dairy – by 3.2 times, confectionery products by 2.6 times, meat and meat products – by 2.2 times, tinned fruits and vegetables – by 1.5 times, tinned meat and fish – by 1.3 times.
Uzbekistan also increased production of wine (24.3% y-o-y), soft drinks (20.4%), sparked water (14%), margarine products (9.6%), dried milk mixtures for children (6.7%), sugar (6.1%), vodka and alcoholic beverage (6.1%) and salt (2.7%).
