Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Dense fog engulfed Nukus, Urgench, and Fergana early this morning, leading to temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft at these airports.
As a result, the Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-9638, traveling from St. Petersburg to Urgench, landed at a diversion airport in Bukhara at 06:04. Flights HY-51/52 on the Tashkent–Urgench and Urgench–Tashkent routes have been delayed.
According to preliminary information, the flight from Tashkent to Urgench is now expected to depart at 12:00, while the return flight has been rescheduled for 14:15.
Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-11 on the Tashkent–Nukus route has also been delayed until 11:30 local time due to fog at the destination city.
Additionally, due to unfavorable weather conditions, restrictions on the acceptance of aircraft were imposed at Fergana Airport.
Silk Avia flight US-401 on the Tashkent–Fergana route has been postponed to 11:20 local time. However, the Fergana Airport continues to operate as usual for departures.
Later, the restrictions on accepting aircraft at Fergana International Airport were lifted, and the airport resumed normal operations.
