Members of Uzbekistan national team, representatives of the Organization Committee of the Games and others participated at the ceremony, Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee said.

Seo Jung Gu [transliterated], a mayor of Olympic Village, welcomed the team of Uzbekistan and wished success at the games. After the anthem of Uzbekistan, the flag of the country was raised. The Uzbek side handed over gifts to Mayor of the Village.

Opening ceremony of the Games will be held on 29 June. Uzbekistan sent 55 athletes to the Games. They will compete for medals in such sports as futsal (men and women), e-sports, kurash, chess, kickboxing, and muay.
