Lebanon had gone in front but Alexander Petrov’s men fought back in style to end the group stages with a perfect record.
Khaled came closest to breaking the deadlock when he hit the post before Lebanon did take the lead shortly afterwards when Ibrahim Hammoud’s cross found Mahmoud Itani and he beat keeper Rustam Umarov with a low drive.
Lebanon’s joy was short-lived, however, as Ilhom Yusupdjanov’s free-kick fell to Gulomjon Mamdjonov and he poked home as an entertaining first-half ended all-square.
Uzbekistan went ahead five minutes into the second period when they won possession in midfield before Umid Holmatov found Farruh Farhutdinov, who swept the ball into the back of the net.
It was 3-1 soon afterwards as Irsaliev netted with a powerful strike before Uzbekistan put the result beyond doubt as Irsaliev grabbed a second when he was on hand to tap home after Lebanon keeper Rabil El Kakhi could only parry Holmatov’s initial shot.
They extended their advantage even further when Yusupdjanov laid the ball off to Bahodir Ahmedov on the right and he crashed home his side’s fifth goal to complete an impressive group campaign that saw them net 19 goals.
