Five new credit unions start their activity in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered new five credit unions, the bank said on 9 November.

In line with the article 17 of the Law “On Central Bank of Uzbekistan” and article 4 of the Law “On credit unions”, the board of the Central Bank issued licenses to credit unions Oltin nihol kredit (Kokand, Ferghana region) with the charter capital of 40.2 million soums, Meros (Bukhara city) with the charter capital of 35.7 million soums.

Credit unions Shakhriston (Bukhara city) with the authorized capital of 37 million soums, Barhayot kredit invest (Ferghana city) with the charter capital of 40 million soums and Sity credit optima (Tashkent city) with the authorized capital of 75 million soums also received permissions.

The credit unions will finance business projects of the members and render leasing services, the Central Bank said.
