East Telecom director-general Lee Bek-hi said at the press conference in Tashkent that the aim of new brand is to create modern image, which reflects intention of the company to share joy to clients with providing quality services. He said that the strategy of the company is not only to provide services and share joy to people.
Head of the company said that new symbol of East Telecom in form of boomerang fully discloses essence and purpose of modern telecommunication technologies: movement, which makes happy and opens new opportunities and simplifies life.
Updated colorful image of East Telecom brand symbolizes dynamism, activity and leadership. The form of the brand shows dynamic movement of business processes, guarantee of return as guarantee of quality communication and direction to east as example of eastern values, traditions and doing business.
External changes – new logotype, corporate style, new office design – are result of wide scale internal changes in East Telecom, which transfers its business development model to client oriented model.
New brand was developed by Cherepaha branding agency. Its representative Ekaterina Arakelova said that the agency studied both East Telecom and modern trends in developing new branch for the operator.
She said that boomerang symbolizes dynamic movement of business processes and guarantee of return as guarantee for quality of communication services. Boomerang is headed to east, which reflects eastern values, traditions and best practices of doing business.
East Telecom is sure that new brand for subscribers will result in improving quality of services, improving system of rendering services and support, launch of new tariffs, products and services.
Deputy director-general East Telecom Fahriddin Rakhimov said that new brand will positively impact quality of services. He added that operator plans to launch new services.
Deputy director-general East Telecom Fathiddin Fahruddinov said that along with rebranding, the company is conducting internal restructuring, which is directed at simplifying procedures on providing services and increasing efficiency of reaction to addresses of the subscribers.
East Telecom representative said that the operator is working on improving quality of its services, launch of new tariffs, products and services. The operator plans to focus on promoting its services in the regions of Uzbekistan.
East Telecom was founded in September 2003 and it is one of the largest fixed telecommunication operators of Uzbekistan. In 2007, East Telecom became part of КТ Corporation (Korea) and Sumitomo Corporation (Japan).
The main direction of East Telecom activities are providing complex of modern telecommunication services that include digital telephony services, Intellectual network of communication, and also data communication, rent service of digital channels of communication, organizing VPN and high-speed access to Internet.
