Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The first plenary session of the International Industrial Advisory Council took place in Tashkent.

The meeting focused on avenues of cooperation with German companies. The initiative aims to establish close collaboration between representatives of leading industrial sectors in Uzbekistan and Germany, as well as to provide students with internship opportunities at German firms.

It is noteworthy that the council includes representatives from key organizations in the country’s industrial sector — the Ministry of Energy, JSC "Uzkimyosanoat," the Association "Uzelektrotechsanoat," JSC "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex," JSC "Navoi Mining & Metallurgy Combinat," and the Association "Uztukimachiliksanoat."

Additionally, council members include executives from prominent German companies such as DaimlerChrysler AG, BOSCH, STADA Arzneimittel AG, TAL Group, and Siemens Energy.

During the session, participants also exchanged views on establishing laboratories and production centers of these companies at the Yangi Uzbekistan University campus.
