Fire Extinguished at Gas Station in Andijan District

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A fire broke out today at a gas station in Andijan District that handles liquefied and compressed gas.

According to the Main Department for Emergency Situations of Andijan Region, the blaze started at 12:05 during the unloading of propane from a MAN fuel tanker with a capacity of about 5 tons. The cause was a violation of the technological process.

Fire and rescue units arrived at 12:13. The fire was contained by 12:26 and completely extinguished by 13:03.

No injuries have been reported.
