Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A fire broke out on the roof of the former Miran International Hotel in the Mirabad district of Tashkent.

Currently, the site is under construction for a new hotel that will be part of the Accor network.

Fire and rescue crews quickly arrived at the scene to combat the blaze.

Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing, and workers on the upper floors of the building are being evacuated from the construction site.
