Fire at Boston’s JFK library is unrelated to explosions in Boston – reports
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A fire broke out at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Monday that officials say was unrelated to other blasts in the city near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, Daily Mail reported.

The fire was the result of an electrical problem, according to Tom Putnam, the director of the library.

Boston police earlier said that there was third explosion at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston. But later police said they were investigating to make sure it wasn’t related to the other blasts.

Putnam told the Boston Globe that the incident was confined to a mechanical room near the archive section of the library.

The library’s official Twitter account tweeted around 4:45 p.m. on Monday: “Any tie to the Boston Marathon explosions is pure speculation.”

A spokesperson for the Boston Police Department said no suspects have been taken into custody yet after the bombing at the Boston Marathon.

“At this time, we haven’t been notified of any arrests or anyone apprehended,” the spokesperson said.

The New York Post reported that a “Saudi national who suffered shrapnel wounds in today’s blast” has been identified as “a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing.” The Boston PD spokesperson did not confirm that report.

At least two explosions shattered the festive air at the end of the grueling Boston Marathon on Monday, leaving at least two people dead and injuring as many as 50.
