UzA reported that Great Britain’s Financial Times Limited named Microcreditbank OJSC as the Best Bank of Uzbekistan in 2010.

The report said that the awarding ceremony of Bank of The Year Awards-2010 was held in London and it was attended by over representatives of 140 leading banks of the world.

Microcreditbank open joint stock commercial bank was created in line with the presidential decree “On creation of joint stock commercial bank “Microcreditbank” from 5 May 2006.

During its operation, the bank rendered microfinancing services for 268 billion soums to small and private businesses, of which 200 billion soums were microloans and 68 billion soums – microleasing services. In past period of 2010, the bank issued microloans for 102.8 billin soums to small businesses.
