Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legal norms adopted in our country in recent years are aimed at increasing the prestige and status of the Uzbek language when doing business in the state language. Moreover, one of the tasks in this direction is to ensure the storage of financial documents in the state language.

Accounting organizations operating on the basis of IFRS can prepare financial statements based on IFRS for 2021 in accordance with the requirements of users of IFRS. Financial statements based on IFRS can be prepared in the state and other languages.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan is studying the interests of the parties at the final stage of concluding an agreement with the IFRS Foundation on the waiver of the right to request IFRS documents in the state language and is preparing a draft agreement. 

According to the monitoring results, today the number of participants in free online courses on educational platforms on the basics of IFRS has increased by 150 compared to last week and amounted to 4,700 people.
