Financial errors and shortcomings in the amount of about 92 billion soums were revealed in the system of preschool and public education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Financial errors and shortcomings in the amount of about 92 billion soums were revealed in the system of preschool and public education.

In the system of preschool education, funds in the amount of more than 4 billion soums were directed to overpayment through plastic cards, a similar amount was unreasonably directed to the purchase of food, a little less than 9 billion soums - to unreasonably accrued wages and enrolled children, 4 billion 405 million soums for purchases that created a conflict of interest, about 2 billion soums for unjustified utility bills and 2 billion 124 thousand soums for additional expenses at the expense of organizations and the budget. Information on the analysis of the activities of the Internal Audit Service was presented at a press conference with the participation of officials from the ministries of public education and preschool education.

272 documents drawn up as a result of the above studies were sent to law enforcement agencies for a legal decision.

In the system of public education, during 619 control measures, financial offenses worth 64.8 billion soums were revealed (of which 12.1 billion soums were appropriated).

In order to give a legal assessment and take legal measures, the studied materials containing signs of a crime were submitted to the competent authorities.

Also, control measures with the participation of citizens have been arranged; on October 1-10 of this year, the ministry conducted a process of selecting objects of control in the audit system with the participation of citizens.

According to the results, 107 citizens voted for 53 objects of control in the state audit system, and an audit is scheduled for 3 objects selected by the largest number of votes in November this year.
