Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Financial errors and excessive pension payments in the amount of 5.72 billion soums were revealed in the Pension Fund system. The head of the Internal Audit and Financial Control Department, Dilshod Mirsaidov said.

As a result of erroneous formation of data when assigning child allowances and material assistance to low-income families through the information system "Unified Register of Social Protection", errors in the amount of 3.51 billion soums were revealed in 2,194 cases;

As a result of incorrect appointment and accrual of state pensions and benefits in 913 cases, errors for 2.18 billion soums were revealed.

As a result of violation of budgetary and budgetary discipline in the conduct of accounting in the regions in 185 cases, the errors for 28.2 million soums were revealed.

Materials on all identified offenses were submitted to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.
