Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 December, the Ministry of Finance jointly with the Central Bank held an auction to place 6 monthly government securities – 200,000 units discount bonds for a total volume 200 billion soums.

The auction was attended by 10 dealers, who submitted a total of 239,270 competitive bids for a total of 223 billion soums.

During the auction, 197,100 units of government securities worth 184.1 billion soums were placed.

The weighted average yield of securities was 14.1% per annum, with a minimum yield of 13.7% and a maximum yield or at the cut-off price of 15.1%.
