About 698 out of 7,212 applicants reached the final stage of the Republican stage of the Youth Creative Festival “Kamalak Yulduzlari 2014”. The winners of the regional stages qualified to the final. Overall 37,600 applications were received this year.

The festival is organized by Public Youth Movement “Kamolot” and Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

The festival is directed at revealing talented children and supporting them to demonstrate their skills. The festival is open for children at the age from 6 to 14.

The festival is held in such directions as music, songs, dances, fine and applied art, literature, etc. The winners of each stage will receive certificates and prizes from the organizers.

The professional jury will assess works and performances of the participants. The winners will receive diplomas and prizes, as well as will receive chance to participate in international contests.

The festival will be completed with gala concert, which will be held at Istiqlol Palace. The festival participants will perform their programmes with Uzbek celebrities.
