Film “Watchtower” of Pelin Esmer wins Grand-Prix of “Golden Guepard”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Third Tashkent International Cinema Forum “Golden Guepard” ended its work in the capital of Uzbekistan on 24 October 2013.

The Grand-prix of the Third Tashkent International Cinema Forum “Golden Guepard” was handed over to the film “Watchtower” of director Pelin Esmer (Turkey).

A joint project of Bulgaria, Croatia and Germany “Father” won in nomination “The best animated film”.

The film “The swing of the coffin maker” of German director Ilmar Imanov received the main award in nomination “The best short film”.

Bakhtiyor Kasimov from Uzbekistan received the award for “The best male role” for his role in the film “Garden” of the director Sabir Nazarmuhamedov.

Chinese actress, director and producer Nuoming Huari won in the nomination “The best female role” in her role in the film “Prayer”.

In nomination “The best director” won the Iranian director Adel Yaraghi for his film “Meeting Leyla”.

The jury of the forum handed over special prizes to five films. The award for the best debut went to animation film “Dog”. Another animation film “Parvane” of the Swiss director Toahon Hamvazi also received the award of the forum.

Russian film “Kokoko” of the director Avdotiya Smirnova received the award for the best philosophical incarnation through human history.

Swiss director Jeshua Dreyfus received the award “For the best debut in full-length film” for his film “Never Mind”. The special diplomat for creative improvisation and original cinematic decision went to the film “Dust on our hearts” of the director Hanne Doose (Germany).

Tashkent International Cinema Forum “Golden Guepard” is organized by Fund Forum and Uzbekkino national agency. It is organized within the Art Week Style.uz.
