Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2019, the Uzbek community of the Penza region, as well as 25 regions of the country from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, on 12 June 2019, will celebrate the traditional charity culinary “Festival of Uzbek Pilaf”. All funds raised will be directed to the treatment of children with disabilities.

On the territory of Penza region, this event is held for the 7th year in a row. Thanks to the support of the residents of the city of Penza, the “Festival of Uzbek Pilaf” is becoming more and more popular every year.

In 2019 the Uzbek Diaspora organizations from 25 regions of Russia will join Festival of Uzbek Pilaf. For the first time, the festival will be held on the ALL-RUSSIAN scale. The events are held with the assistance of the Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation for the Rights of the Child, Anna Yurievna Kuznetsova.
