Festival of European Films to be held in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan in cooperation with national agency Uzbekkino will hold a Festival of European Films on 22-31 May 2015.

The festival will be organized for the third time in Uzbekistan. The organizers will present 18 films from 15 countries of Europe.

Adults and children can watch films from the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Slovakia, Finland, Latvia and Greece. The films of such genres as comedy, documentary, children, tragicomedy will be shown.

The festival will launch on 22 May at Cinema Palace named after Alisher Navoi and last till 31 May.

The major part of the films will be demonstrated with subtitles in Russia, while some will be shown in Russian. The entry is free.
