The region’s agriculture output increased by 6.5%, retail trade turnover – 17.7%, production of construction materials – 34%, consumer goods – 10.7%.

Some 24 projects on modernization of capacities and technological re-equipment have been implemented.

Commercial banks of Ferghana region issued loans for 163 billion soums to support small and private entrepreneurs. Economic sustainability of 34 territorial enterprises, which were included to localization programme, was ensured.

Works for over 700 billion soums were implemented within the state programme “The Year of Harmonically Developed Generation”. Some 610 houses have been commissioned at 15 blocks. The region created over 91,000 jobs.
