Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ferghana Region has signed an investment agreement with South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd to launch a project for the production of electronic boards and electric vehicle charging stations.

The initiative follows a visit by a Ferghana regional delegation to the Republic of Korea in November last year, led by Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov. During that visit, initial negotiations with representatives of AHA Co., Ltd were held.

Today, a meeting took place in the city of Ferghana between the regional hokim and Mr. Koo Ki Do, CEO of AHA. The central focus of the discussions was a pilot investment project to be implemented in the region, involving the establishment of manufacturing facilities for electronic boards and EV charging stations.

The parties paid particular attention to accelerating construction works at the site, with the total project value estimated at USD 20 million.

“Every investor is of strategic importance to us. The President of our country is personally monitoring the implementation of this project. We are fully committed to supporting all investment initiatives,” emphasized Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov during the meeting.
