Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan failed to qualify to quarterfinal of the Barcelona Open after he lost to Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.
The match lasted an hour and forty-four minutes. In the first set, Denis Istomon lost in tie-break (7/6).
In the second set, the sides won their serves, but at the twelfth game Lopez broke Denis Istomin to clinch set and match.
