The agreement is intended to test the mechanism of organized attraction of foreign labor “through the preliminary selection, verification and preparation of migrants for the implementation of labor activity in Russia”. Selection and verification will be carried out by Uzbekistan, he added.
In line with the document, the Ministry of Labor of Russia will post information on Russian employers who are in need of foreign workers, availability of vacancies and vacant posts, nature and conditions of work.
The implementation of the agreement will contribute to strengthening of Russian-Uzbek cooperation in the field of external labor migration, development of friendly relations between the two states, upgrading of the skills of the labor force, as well as prevention of illegal recruitment of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to work in the territory of the Russian Federation.
