Fazliddin Sayfiddinovich Husanov was born to a family of musicians on 2 July 1978 in Zangiota district of Tashkent region. He took his maiden lesson in piano at the age of four. In 1985, he enrolled in Uspenski Specialised Music Academic Lyceum in a group coached by Popovich Tamara Afanasiyevna, an Honoured Teacher of Uzbekistan. In 1995, he went to Germany to further his studies.
In 2002, Husanov was awarded Nihol State Prize. He is a winner of a number of major music contests among which are International Piano Contest of Central Asia and Kazakhstan (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan); 5th Junior Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition (Salt Lake City, USA); International Festival de St. Pons (France); an International Piano Contest (London, Great Britain); an International Contest (Naples, Italy); an International Piano Contest (Germany), 1st place and Absolute Title; Shizuoka International Contest (Japan); an International Piano Contest (Sicily, Italy); 3rd Rahmaninov International Competition (Los Angeles, USA), among others.
Husanov has performed successfully and won acclaim in Europe, Asia, America and collaborated with leading orchestras in many countries, and has been a member of juries of major international competitions. Since 2000, Husanov has taught special piano at Wales Conservatory (Great Britain).
He devoted his Tashkent concert, composed of works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Stravinsky, to his teacher Tamara Afanasiyevna Popovich, an Honoured Teacher of Uzbekistan and one of the leading music specialists in the Republic. She has worked for Uspenski Specialised Music Academic Lyceum for over 40 years. In 1961-1987, she was head of piano department. Many of her students went on to further their studies at Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow.
