Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 April, at about 07:30, a traffic accident occurred involving two cars and a pedestrian on Oltintopgan Street in \ Bektemir district. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent.

According to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, a 35-year-old woman driving a Spark car on the basis of a power of attorney, not keeping a distance, collided with a Spark car parked on the side of the road. After the collision, the driver lost control and ran into a woman who was walking along the road.

As a result of the incident, a 40-year-old woman received severe bodily injuries and was hospitalized in a coma of the 2nd degree. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, on 11 April at 02:15 the woman died.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in accordance with part 2 of article 266 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
