Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbek Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov met with Anton Dell, founder of the British company FashionNet (FNAD), Dunyo news agency reported.
FashionNet provides practical support to textile companies in exporting their products to developed markets. Founded in 1994 in London, the company also has regional offices in European countries. FashionNet offers customized solutions for each product, developing export programs for textile products aimed at wholesalers, assisting in price setting, sizing, and other parameters. Over the past 30 years, FNAD has helped over 1,000 brands find permanent trading partners in 30 countries.
During the meeting, the British side expressed readiness to support Uzbek textile businesses in entering the UK market.
Experienced staff and leading specialists from FNAD will provide training on effective export processes, develop tailored export models, rationally select export geographies, and align pricing and sizing with international standards.
The British delegation was informed about the potential of Uzbekistan's textile industry and advanced practices in cotton cultivation. FashionNet was invited to participate in the "ITMF Annual Conference & IAF World Fashion Convention 2024," scheduled to take place from September 8-10 in Samarkand.
