Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed the new head of the State Inspectorate for Control in the Field of Informatization and Telecommunications (Uzkomnazorat) under the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
According to the presidential decree, Farrukh Rustamov has been named the new head of Uzkomnazorat, replacing Azam Abdullaev, who had held the position since April 2022.
Before his appointment in January 2024, Rustamov served as the director of the Uzmobile branch of the state telecom company Uzbektelecom.
Previously, he worked as the head of the Central Telephone Communication Hub for Tashkent’s city telephone network and as the director of the “Tashkent City Telephone Network” branch of Uzbektelecom, along with holding several other key positions.
