Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution "On approval of the regulation on the procedure for covering part of the insurance premium costs for crop insurance for agricultural entities."

The regulation envisages the reimbursement of insurance premium expenses for farmers, dehkan farms, LLCs, and other agricultural entities directly involved in crop cultivation. The reimbursement covers 50% of the insurance premium costs but does not exceed 4% of the insured amount.

To receive the subsidy, the policyholder must register in the "Agroplatform" system. The insured crops must be recorded in the "CropAgro" system.

After full payment of the insurance premium, the policyholder must apply for the subsidy through the "Agrosubsidiya" system, attaching the following documents:

- Insurance contract
- Insurance policy
- Payment order and invoice confirming full payment of the insurance premium

The Ministry of Agriculture will decide on the appropriateness of the subsidy within three days. The subsidy amount will then be transferred to the applicant’s bank account within five working days through the subsidiya.mf.uz system.

The Ministry of Agriculture will publish information about the amount of subsidies granted and the policyholders on its open data portal monthly.
