Muhametshin was member of the delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov. The delegation included Special Representative of the Russian President on International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvidkoy and Director of Department on International Cooperation of the Russian Government’s Office Tatyana Valovaya.

The visit of the delegation was aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan. The talks were also focused on bilateral cooperation in humanitarian sphere.

Farid Muhametshin visited office of Rossotrudnichestva in Uzbekistan and hold meeting with employees of the office to discuss some organizational issues.
