Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The law signed by the President of Uzbekistan introduced changes and additions to some legislative acts.

According to the amendments made to the Law “On Family Business,” family business entities without the formation of a legal entity are given the right to hire up to five permanent employees with the conclusion of an employment contract with them (previously - up to 3 employees).

Also, a participant in one family enterprise has the right to be simultaneously a participant in another family enterprise.

According to the amendments made to the Customs Code, state and non-state sports and educational organizations were provided with benefits in the form of a 50 percent exemption from customs duties on special sportswear, shoes, sports equipment, gear and equipment imported for their own needs.

According to the amendments made to the Urban Planning Code, the powers of local executive authorities to make decisions on the construction of urban development projects were terminated.
