One of the main tasks of the exhibition is to develop internal and external tourism markets, expend them and open new directions for travelers.
The exhibition occupies 2,000 square meters and open-air area near the exhibition complex. Leading tourism companies, hotels, regional tourism administrations and others are participating in the event.
Over 147 companies, including tourism companies, guest houses, hotels and airlines from 30 countries such as Spain, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, Maldives and Seychelles Islands are participating in the exhibition.
The companies present their tourism products, new travel destinations and various tourism programmes, the organizers said.
Among the participants are also regions of Uzbekistan – Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Namangan, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khorezm.
The exhibition also includes international UNWTO conference “Perspectives of developing gastronomy tourism in Uzbekistan”. The conference will consider development of gastronomy tourism and trends in this direction.
On 27 April, the exhibition of retro automobiles was held within the event. Over 23 unique automobiles, produced over 60 years ago, were presented to the guests and the visitors.
The visitors had a chance to familiarize with cars, make photos of automobiles and seat in the driving seat.
On 28 April, the Festival of National Cuisine will be held within the exhibition, which will present national foods of Uzbekistan – pilaf. The cooks will prepare such pilafs as BAYRAM OSHI, TO’Y OSHI, SAMARQAND OSHI, TOSHKENT OSHI, etc.
