Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 March, a failure in the operation of two installations was occurred at the Talimarjan Thermal Power Plant in Kashkadarya region. This was stated by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The incident occurred at 15:10. This led to short-term interruptions in the supply of electricity to consumers in certain areas of Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Bukhara and Jizzakh regions.

After 25 minutes, the electricity supply was fully restored using backup sources, the Ministry noted.
