Face-ID method to be introduced at Public Service Centers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Presidential Decree “On further increasing the responsibility and forming a compact management system of justice bodies and institutions within the framework of administrative reforms”, in order to create additional amenities in in the sphere of providing public services to the population and business entities, it was decided to establish a procedure according to which:

From 1 July  2024:

identification of citizens in the Mobile-ID system will be carried out at their request in a composite form during the process of issuing an ID card and a biometric passport for traveling abroad through public service centers;

entering in electronic form into the state register information about rights to real estate, the state registration of which was carried out earlier (a certificate of state registration was issued or confirmed by making an inscription on the title document), and which is valid on the day of entry, as well as providing an extract about this from the state register will be carried out free of charge;

registration of transactions for the transfer of non-residential premises to another person will be carried out with the personal appearance of the parties to the transaction at the public services center with their identity established by an employee of the center, and the completed transaction will simultaneously be sent to the cadastre authorities for state registration;

Until the end of 2024:

in the provision of public services, the method of biometric personal identification (Face-ID) will be introduced; 

At the same time, citizens are not required to provide identification documents.

Identification and re-identification by citizens in the Mobile-ID system through public service centers and notary offices will be carried out free of charge.
