Exporters to sell 25% of hard currency revenue to banks
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes to the procedure of compulsory sale of hard currency revenue by business entities.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued a decree “On introducing amendments and additions to the procedure of compulsory sale of foreign currency revenue by the business entities” on 1 February.

According to the document, the business entities will sell 25% of hard currency revenue to the authorized banks. Earlier, the figure made up 50%.

At the same time, exporters of 16 goods and services will continue to sell 50% of their hard currency revenue.

The lost includes wheat, sulfur, natural gas and other products of the oil and gas industry (including transit), uranium, polyethylene, polypropylene, ferrous metals, copper and zinc, hydrogen, rare gases and other non-metals, base metals, metal and others.
