The information service of the Namangan city administration said that the mayor of the city Tolqinjon Dadabaev made a presentation at the meeting.

According to the information service, last year industrial production in the city increased by 14.7% compared to 2010, the volume of construction and contract work reached 111.6 billion soums with an increase of 19%, while the retail trade turnover rose by 20.3%.

The volume of agricultural products, produced in urban lots has reached 128.2 billion soums, which is 5% higher compared to 2010, industrial enterprises and businesses carried out export operations worth US$41 million, which exceeded the indexes of the 2010 by 21.5%.

Along with the results of 2011, the participants of the session discussed the priority areas of socio-economic development of Namangan in 2012, as well as the other issues on top of the agenda.
