Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait organized online meetings between representatives of Uzbek and Kuwaiti companies, Dunyo news agency reported.
At the meetings, the management of Helathunuts LLC from Kuva district of Ferghana region, Avvali Kokand from Kokand and the Lulu Hypermarket shopping complex in Kuwait discussed the possibility of exporting dried fruits and halva from Uzbekistan.
The issue of exporting fresh and dried fruits, juices and pickled vegetables from Uzbekistan was also discussed by representatives of the Sunny Fruits company from the Tashkent region and UzKand with the management of the Kuwaiti hypermarket.
The possibilities of expanding trade and economic relations were explored with Crafers Co. At the meetings, the parties exchanged information on the requirements for food products imported to Kuwait and the range of exports of Uzbek companies.
Issues of transport and logistics were also discussed.
The Kuwaiti side expressed interest in importing competitive Uzbek products and establishing cooperation with Uzbek companies.
As a result of online negotiations, agreements were reached on the provision of catalogs and samples of their products by Uzbek exporters to the Kuwaiti side, as well as on the development of transport and logistics issues.
