Commercial director of regional office of Kaspersky Lab in Central Asia and Mongolia Valery Zubanov conducted the presentation for students and professors of IUT.

During the presentation, Valery Zubanov presented information on main cyber threats in the world and Central Asia, including in Uzbekistan.

According to Kaspersky Lab, main cyber threats in Uzbekistan are spam, dangerous links and local threats (USB flash cards).

Representative of Kaspersky Lab, in particular, noted that outdated software is also threat to cyber security. He said that it is necessary to update software to eliminate existing vulnerabilities.

Valery Zubanov underlined importance of creation of reserve copies of important information.
