Uzbek businesspersons, undergoing internship in Germany within programme on improving skills of managers, financed by Germany’s Ministry of Economy and Technologies and coordinated by InWEnt, and representatives of COGNOS International GmbH educational center participated at the event.

Roundtable presented information on social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan and priorities of further development of the country. Special attention was paid to cooperation with Germany. Participants received information on projects of MAN, Daimler, CLAAS, Knauf and others. Participants also discussed investment climate and business opportunities at Navoi free industrial-economic zone, preferences for foreign investors in Uzbekistan, etc.

Uzbek managers also presented information about activity of their enterprises, which work in automobile and automobile leasing, textile industry, energy, ICT sectors. They also rated courses, which they underwent in Germany, and agreements reached with German businesses. The Uzbek managers also shares their views on improvement of courses.

In their turn, the organizers of the courses underlined good skills of the Uzbek interns and their intention to improve their skills and knowledge. The interns received corresponding certificates.
