EXEED plans to sell 3,000 cars in the first year of its operation in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chinese premium car manufacturer EXEED plans to sell 3,000 cars in its first year of operation in Uzbekistan. This was stated by Lawson Han, country director of EXEED.

He recalled that the automaker plans to enter the Uzbek market in the spring of 2023.

According to him, EXEED is wrapping up negotiations with a distributor in Uzbekistan. “We are already completing negotiations with the distributor and we need to settle some details of the contract. In January, as we expect, we will sign an agreement and announce our distributor,” he said.

Lawson Han said that the company will introduce three car models to the Uzbek market.

Three models of crossovers that will soon be available to motorists in Uzbekistan - compact LX, mid-size TXL and full-size VX - embody the combination of centuries-old traditions of European automotive culture and the latest intelligent manufacturing technologies in China.

EXEED's technology partner is Jaguar Land Rover, and the development of the first models at EXEED's Munich R&D center was led by an international team of leading European designers and engineers. Manufacturers of components for the automotive industry Intel, Bosch, Magna, Benteler also contributed to the creation of the brand.

Han noted that EXEED has delivered several vehicles to Uzbekistan to undergo the necessary tests and certification.

In January 2023, we will start deliveries of cars to Uzbekistan, the EXEED representative noted.

According to him, at the first stage, 5 dealers will operate in Uzbekistan. Two of them will be in Tashkent, and one each in Samarkand, Ferghana and Navoiy.

“We have very high requirements for dealers and quality of service. The dealers will also provide vehicle maintenance services,” said a representative of the Chinese company.

“We know that consumers in Uzbekistan wait for their cars for at least 6 months. We plan that our customers will receive their cars in less than a month. To achieve this, in January we plan to start deliveries of cars to Uzbekistan,” he said.

According to him, the Chinese company has its own well-established car supply chain. The company tracks the supply of vehicles and spare parts to the dealer unlike other car manufacturers.

He said that the automaker plans to hold press conferences on the start of work in Uzbekistan in February 2023, and start car sales in March.

Speaking about the cost of the car, he noted that the final price will be announced in February 2023.
