Executive documents to be translated into electronic format in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on digitalization in the field of executive documents.

According to the decree, from 1 May 2024, executive documents in court cases will be issued in electronic form. The order in which they are sent and presented to recipients will also change.

As part of this initiative, a minimum guaranteed income will be established for citizens, which will not be subject to penalties under executive documents. A simplified procedure for enforcement proceedings has also been introduced for the collection of arrears on postal expenses.

It was instructed to develop a procedure for the sale of property specified in the executive documents on a contract-intermediary basis.

From 1 April 2024, only organizations that have implemented remote electronic monitoring of property will be able to sell it.

Additionally, a Monitoring Center and a Department for Accounting and Asset Management are being created within the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

It is also envisaged to expand the staff of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement by 230 people to protect the interests of minors in the field of alimony collection.

From 1 December, it is planned to introduce a register of obligations in order to ensure the execution of court decisions and similar decisions of other bodies.
