Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures to ensure openness and transparency of state administration, as well as to increase the statistical potential of the country”.

In accordance with the resolution, the State Committee on Statistics coordinates the activities of state bodies and organizations in terms of the work on the formation, maintenance and updating of the list of open data sets.

These data will be published on the Open Data Portal (data.gov.uz).

The data on the portal is published in Uzbek, Russian and English. In this case, the version of the site in English will be launched before 1 August  2019.

To this end, the State Statistics Committee has created a department for improving the activities of the Portal.

Technical support and maintenance, as well as the smooth operation of the Portal, will be provided by the National Project Management Agency.

The data published on the Portal will also be revised in accordance with the main directions of the Global Open Data Index and the Open Data Barometer methodology.

In particular, in accordance with this, the execution of the state budget and state trust funds, the budget of ministries and departments, budgets in the context of the regions, as well as all competitions and tenders of state bodies will be published on this portal.
