Embassy of France in Uzbekistan invited two prominent French architects to Tashkent. French experts held master-class for students of Tashkent architecture-construction institute on 16 April. The master class was directed at attracting attention of future architects to ecologic aspects of town-building. Over 30 students had chance to familiarize with requirements to architecture.

On 17 April, the exhibition “Opportunities of architecture for ecologic sustainable city” was opened in Tashkent. The exhibition showcased fundamental interaction between city and its architecture for sustainable development. The exhibition will be open for a month at Tashkent architecture-construction institute and later will be shown in other Uzbek cities.

Later on the same time, a film about ecologic sustainable city was held at French Institute in Uzbekistan. After show, the Uzbek specialists and French experts exchanged opinion on construction of ecologic sustainable city.

On 18 April, international seminar was organized by French Embassy in Tashkent and Tashkent architecture-construction institute, which was attended by architects from Germany, Japan, Uzbekistan and France. The event was focused on planning towns, ecologic aspects of construction of cities, modern methods in architecture and construction, etc.
