On 14 June, 2007 the European Trust Bank signed an agreement with theNational Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity on accession to Migom money transfer system, which heralds the start of cooperation in cash remittance and receipt, the press-centre of theEuropean Trust Bank said.
"Cooperation with a bank that serves as a show-case of Uzbekistan’s banking system in international financial markets is very important to us," says Deputy Head of Migom Business Project Department Lev Chugunov.
TheNational Bank of Uzbekistan enjoys a stable reputation of a professional financial institution and a reliable partner thus fully meeting the requirements of Migom clients, he said.
Owing to the partnership relations with the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity, a number of new outlets for Migom money transfer system will soon be set up in Uzbekistan. Migom money transfer system is a project of the European Trust Bank launched in 2002. Today Migom comprises 4,000 outlets in Russia and the CIS countries.
