At the same time, the share of Europe increased from 52.1% in January-March 2009 to 55.6% in the first quarter of 2010. The share of Asia decreased from 45% to 42% in the reporting period.
In the structure of the foreign trade turnover, the share of American continent slipped from 2.7% in January-March 2009 to 2.2% in the first three months of 2010. Australia and Oceania kept its share at the size of 0.2%.
Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up US$4.321 billion in January-March 2010, of which US$1.399 billion fell to share of the CIS states and US$2.922 billion to non-CIS states. At the same time, US$2.701 billion were exports of Uzbekistan and US$1.62 billion were import operations.
